BREAKING: Army Bans Trucks On Lagos Bridges

The Nigerian Military on Wednesday ordered drivers of articulated and different heavy-duty vehicles to vacate the Carter Bridge and different overpass in Lagos with impact from Thursday.

There have been claims that the bridges could buckle below the burden of the articulated vehicles and these could have compelled the military to swing into motion and stop a significant catastrophe within the nation’s financial and industrial capital.

The Federal Highway Security Fee (FRSC) had final 12 months warned that the gridlocks created by vehicles on the bridges had been harmful and had damaging results on the overpass.
