Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday in Abuja wondered how a Jibril of Sudan would preside over the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
The misconception of Jibril, a supposedly double body of President Muhammadu Buhari, has abounded in conventional media as well as social media lately. Buhari himself had field questions in Poland, cleared the air and discredited claims that he had been cloned.
Osinbajo expressed this commotion in a National Consultative Forum organized by the National Committee of Support Groups of Buhari (NCBSG) in collaboration with the Council for the New Initiative of Nigeria.
He said that the fear of Buhari was causing some detractors to lose their meaning. According to the vice president, the current government is gaining 60% less than the previous government, however, has spent N2.7 billion on infrastructure, the highest in the history of the country.
He said that the administration led by Buhari had done a lot because he was not stealing money; It was making major roads in 36 states: Lagos Kano, Warri, Aladja, Mambilla, Port Hacourt, Maiduguri, among others.
Osinbajo said the government was feeding more than 9.2 million children every day; giving 2 million small traders a better deal in life with Tradermoni and employing 500,000 graduates in the N-Power program.
“We are giving some 300,000 of the poorest Nigerian N5000 a month. How? Because Buhari is the guardian of the door, he has stopped the great corruption.
“So, despite the fact that we are gaining 60 percent less, we are doing five times more, that is why there is an elite gang discredited against him.” The coalition begins the mobilization for the reelection of Buhari.
“They prayed for him to die, he did not die.” When he came back safe and sound by the grace of Almighty God, they cried while the Nigerians rejoiced.
“The fear of Buhari makes these people despair, even like crazy, so now they say it’s Jibrin from Sudan, if you can not discredit him, say that he does not exist, everyone was alive and well when Pastor Adeboye went to London and He prayed for him the day before returning to Nigeria.
“How will a Jubril sit on the Federal Executive Council and organize meetings, consult with his ministers, speak to me daily?
“Your strategy is simple, if you tell a lie often, some will believe you; “Buhari is not only alive and well, but by the grace of God he will live long after his second term,” he said.
He congratulated the members of Buhari’s National Support Groups Committee, saying that they were the vanguard of the battle for the soul of Nigeria.
