The wife of the deputy governor of the state of Abia, Lady Vivian Ude Oko Chukwu, visited yesterday the women of Agbaja Nkporo to talk about a new course for the way to the participation of women in politics.
During the interaction, she entrusted the women to continue supporting the state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and her Deputy, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu to ensure that the state continues to move in the right direction, even when the General Election of 2019 is fast approaching. He welcomed the ranks of APC and APGA members who joined the PDP in the area.
In their own response, the women of Agbaja Nkporo pledged to continue to show their support for their son, the deputy governor of the state of Abia and his boss, the governor of the state. The women complained bitterly about some elements of Nkporo that have become a tool in the hands of distractors who have sworn never to see the progress of the community due to their selfish interest. They vowed never to allow the evil elements to succeed in their attempt to cause chaos and disunity in Nkporo and asked all the sons and daughters of Nkporo to unite around Sir Ude Oko Chukwu to make Nkporo advance.
Formerly in his own speech, Lieutenant Governor of the state of Abia, RT. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu thanked the women for their encouragement and support for the administration led by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and promised to always identify with the women whenever they call.
The two traditional rulers of the community Aloke Agbaja and Achi de Achi in their separate speeches encouraged the indigenous people of Nkporo not to listen to any judas in Nkporo whose motive is to fight their illustrious son just to mark a cheap political goal and ordered the People meet all Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu will arrive in 2019.
