The Household of Late Martin Luther King Jnr, has denied giving President Muhammadu Buhari any benefit award on Tuesday, 27 March.

The household debunked giving the award through its official twitter deal with on Thursday.

On its official tweeter deal with, @TheKingCenter, the official dwelling memorial to #MLK, based by #CorettaScottKing to teach on nonviolence and construct the #BelovedCommunity. #Nonviolence365™. #Atlanta, it stated:

“The award given to President Buhari of Nigeria was not given by The King Middle, on the request of The King Middle or by the youngsters of #MLK and #CorettaScottKing. @MrFixNigeria”.

Reacting to the event, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the senior particular assistant to the president on overseas affairs and diaspora on Thursday stated that the award was given by Naomi in a private capability and never on behalf of The King Centre.
