President Muhammadu Buhari has denied data of days which the Inspector Common of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris spent in Benue State after he was ordered to relocate to the state.

President Buhari mentioned this on Monday throughout a gathering with some stakeholders on the Authorities Home in Makurdi, the state capital.

On January 9, the President had ordered the Inspector Common of Police to instantly transfer to Benue State to revive legislation and order and forestall additional lack of lives and properties, from escalating and spreading within the state.

Though Mr Idris obeyed the President’s directive, he reportedly left Benue State for Nasarwa State.
