Rochas Okorocha, the Imo State governor, on Monday acknowledged that he has no rating to settle with Most Rev. Dr Anthony Obinna, the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri, at the same time as he suggested members of the general public to cease creating such impression.

The governor recalled that in 2011 and 2015 respectively, he and his social gathering, the All Progressives Congress, APC, received overwhelmingly in Owerri Municipal, the place most members of the Owerri Catholic Diocese reside.

He maintained that greater than 95 p.c of members of the Diocese, together with the Archbishop’s elder brother and a frontline politician within the state, Sir Paddy Obinna, had remained robust supporters of his administration.
